1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how DreamPixel AI ("DreamPixel", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our iOS mobile application and related services (the "App"). We are committed to transparency and to protecting your privacy.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Who We Are & Roles

For your use of the App, DreamPixel is the controller of your personal data. We use carefully selected service providers (processors) to operate core features:

• Replicate – runs AI image/video generation based on your prompts and uploads.
• Firebase (Google) – authentication, analytics, crash reporting, cloud database/storage, App Check.
• RevenueCat – in-app subscription management and entitlements.
• Apple (App Store) – payment processing for in-app purchases.

We engage these providers under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing services to us.

3. What We Collect

We aim to collect only what we need to run and improve the App.

Account & Authentication

• Anonymous user ID or platform sign-in identifiers (when you choose to sign in).
• Device-level signals used for fraud prevention and App Check.

User Content

• Prompts and settings you enter for image/video generation.
• Generated media (images/videos), thumbnails, and related metadata (aspect ratio, time, status).
• Optional uploads (e.g., reference images) if you use image-to-image or video features.

Purchase & Entitlements

• Subscription status, product identifiers, and Apple receipt metadata processed by RevenueCat.
• We do not receive your full card details; Apple handles payment.

Diagnostics & Analytics

• App interaction events, performance metrics, crash logs, device model, OS version, and IP-derived coarse region.
• Basic telemetry to detect misuse, prevent fraud, and secure our APIs.

Support

• Information you provide if you contact us (email, screenshots, logs you choose to share).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Core functionality: Process your prompts and (if provided) uploads with Replicate to generate images/videos; store results so you can view, like, save, and re-use them.
• Security & abuse prevention: Enforce acceptable use, protect accounts, detect suspicious activity, and secure our infrastructure (including Firebase App Check).
• Subscriptions: Verify purchases and manage access to paid features via Apple IAP and RevenueCat.
• Product improvement: Fix bugs, measure performance, improve features, and plan new functionality using aggregated analytics.
• Communications: Respond to support requests; send essential service notices. (We do not send marketing without your consent where required.)

5. AI & Third-Party Model Providers (Important)

To generate outputs, your prompts, settings, and any uploaded media are sent to Replicate (our processor), which executes model inference and returns results to the App. Depending on the model you choose, your use may also be subject to the model provider's additional terms (e.g., Black Forest Labs/Flux, Ideogram, Stability). We surface model-specific restrictions in-app where relevant.

Training & vendor use of your content:

We do not allow our vendors to use your prompts or generated media to train their models for their own purposes. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and request consent where required.

Sensitive content:

Please do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights (e.g., non-consensual personal data, copyrighted material you don't own, biometric data). We may take action to prevent misuse.

6. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Where laws require a legal basis (e.g., GDPR), we rely on:

• Contractual necessity (to provide the App and your subscription features),
• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and
• Consent where required (e.g., certain analytics/notifications in some regions).

7. In-App Purchases & RevenueCat

All payments are processed by Apple via in-app purchase. We do not collect or store your full payment details. We receive purchase status from Apple/RevenueCat to grant or revoke access to paid features.

8. Sharing Your Information

We share data only as needed to run the App, with:

• Service providers acting under our instructions (Replicate, Firebase, RevenueCat, analytics/crash tooling).
• Legal & safety: If required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your information remains protected by this Policy or a successor policy with materially similar protections).

We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing.

9. Data Retention

• User Content (prompts/generated media): kept until you delete it in the App or request deletion, or for as long as your account is active to provide features like history and re-use.
• Analytics & logs: retained for limited periods necessary for security and diagnostics, then aggregated or deleted.
• Backups: residual copies may persist temporarily in secure backups before automated purge.

We keep data longer only if required by law or to resolve disputes, enforce terms, or protect our services.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, restricted access, Firebase security rules, and App Check. No system is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your device and account.

11. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your data
• Delete your data (including prompts and generated media)
• Correct inaccurate data
• Export/port your data
• Restrict/opt-out of certain processing (e.g., analytics where available)
• Withdraw consent (for any processing based on consent)
• Appeal an automated decision, where applicable

How to exercise: Use in-app controls (where available) or contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your request. Deleting data may disable features that rely on it and remove access to previously generated items.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it. (If your local law sets a higher age, we apply the higher standard.)

13. International Transfers

We and our processors may process data in countries other than yours (including the United States and EU). We use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by applicable law.

14. Your Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You are responsible for:

• Only submitting content you have the right to use;
• Not generating or sharing illegal, harmful, or infringing content;
• Complying with any model-provider restrictions presented in-app (e.g., prohibitions on surveillance/biometrics, deceptive uses, or competing model training).

We may restrict access or remove content that violates these requirements.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice and/or email (if available). The "Last Updated" date shows the current version. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
